Hospital Fundraising Events

The Chinese community continues its efforts to raise funds for the new hospital with two events held in April.  The dim sum luncheon, held at the Jade Restaurant on April 10, was a very successful with 150 guests in attendance (well exceeding the seating limit of 120 persons.)  A run/walk event was held on April 19 at the Malden Park with 70+ participants.  It was a delight to see all the young and old gathered for this annual fundraising event.  Approximately $10,000 was raised from these activities.  Many thanks to the members of the Hospital Fundraising Committee for planning and organizing these successful events.
